I don’t like doing these kinds of posts; this is not what this blog is for or about. But I’m kind of disappointed with my latest online purchase experience.

I made an order from Henry’s Electronic Warehouse. A few days had gone by and I did not receive any communication from them, so I sent them an email via the online form on their site, no response. A few days later, I received my order, but it was incomplete. There was an enclosed note that the final item would be shipped separately, ok.

3 weeks gone by nothing, mind they are located in Markham, orders should be received in a few days, max. I sent them another email via the online form, again no response.

Yesterday I did receive the final item; however it was shipped from Hong Kong.

This made me realize something. They offer both pickup and shipping, but not on all items, why? They take orders, what they have in stock, I guess big sellers, they ship right away, and what they don’t keep in stock, they order from Hong Kong or other places.

The reason I ordered from them is because, they were local and I wanted the items quick, not a month later. If I wanted to order something from overseas I would of ordered it myself from Deal Extreme, cheaper and free shipping.

I sent them another email, letting them know how I felt, and if they want to keep customers, they should communicate.

Oh Yeah, their home page states:

My order was over $150.00?

We’ll see if they respond, but I think they’ve lost a customer.
